Urban Wildlife Gardening
Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6:30-8:00pm
Come celebrate the arrival of spring by learning to attract the wild blossoms to your gardens.
In this workshop, you will learn the major soil and eco-types of the Vancouver area and discover which wild plant communities are best suited to your situation. Learn the habits and life-cycles of our wild relatives and invite more beneficial birds, pollinators and small mammals into your urban garden.
Matthew Kemshaw is the garden programs manager at the Environmental Youth Alliance, where he supports the management of 5 large mixed wildlife and urban food gardens.
