Soap Making With Tallow
Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6:30-8:30pm
Learn all the benefits and tricks of making cold processed, tallow based soaps! This class is great for beginners, as well as intermediate soap makers who are curious how to work with this traditional ingredient.
As a group, we’ll go step by step through the whole process to safely mix tallow and lye to create long lasting bars of all natural, handmade soap. You’ll then get to customize your portion with the essential oils and herbs of your choosing! Go home with several bars of your own beautiful soap, as well as a recipe with tips + instructions that you can reuse and customize for your future batches!
We will be working with tallow sourced from a local butcher, so you'll know what to expect in advance!
