This is a direct-set milk kefir starter, meaning you sprinkle the powder onto heated milk, incubate, and wait. This culture does not keep indefinitely and is especially suitable if your lifestyle doesn't permit feeding a culture on a regular basis. Typical usage is 5g for 1l milk. Contains 30g (6 batches worth). Keep culture refrigerated.

Contains: Active bacterial culture (L. lactis, L. cremoris, L. diacetylactis, L. acidophilus), lactic yeasts, skim milk powder.
